ENGR. MUHAMMAD UMER KHAN

Engr. Muhammad Umer Khan is a founder President of Professional Youth Foundation of Pakistan. He started his career during academic life. He has an extensive experience of broadcasting at Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation, Metro One News, News One TV, Such TV and so on. He is national level winning debater of Higher Education Commission (HEC) declamation contest twice accordingly 2012 and 2013. He established Karachi Youth’s Federation in 2008 and renewed it in 2018 by the name of Professional Youth Foundation of Pakistan. Being a youth activist, he organized more than hundred seminars, conferences and workshops for career guidance of youth and students. Being a professional, he completed his BS in Computer Engineering from Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology and MS in Software Engineering from Institute of Business & Technology

About PYFP

Professional Youth Foundation of Pakistan (PYFP) was founded in 2018, building on the legacy of the Karachi Youth Federation, which was initiated in 2008 by a group of dedicated students from DJ Sindh Government Science College, Karachi. This vibrant platform aimed to enhance youth skills and professionalism, paving the way for career growth among the youth of Karachi. As the founding members successfully completed their education and transitioned into professional roles within society, they recognized the need for a more structured approach to empower future generations. PYFP was established to provide a focused framework for career counseling, academic achievement, professional development, and capacity building for young individuals.

Driven by our vision to foster good governance through the empowerment of Pakistan’s youth, we are committed to unifying individuals for socio-economic development across the nation. To realize this vision, PYFP has organized numerous seminars, conferences, and networking sessions, creating valuable opportunities for professional interactions, entrepreneurship training, and student counseling. Our foundation has established meaningful partnerships through signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with various educational institutions and professional organizations, including Muhammad Ali Jinnah University, UIT University, Greenwich University, Pakistan Navy Cadet College Ormara, and many others. Through these initiatives, we strive to equip young people with the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive in a dynamic job market and contribute positively to society.

President PYFP

ENGR. MUHAMMAD UMER KHAN

Engr. Muhammad Umer Khan is the elected President of the Professional Youth Foundation of Pakistan (PYFP). A distinguished alumnus of Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology in Karachi, he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering in 2014, followed by a Master’s in Software Engineering from ILMA University (formerly known as the Institute of Business & Technology) in 2016. Engr. Umer Khan is an accomplished entrepreneur in the IT sector, having launched his own business and held key positions in business development for multiple renowned brands, including Digitech Infra Associates, VictorTech, SEO Lift, HABL, and Get Brand Space.

In addition to his successful IT career, Engr. Muhammad Umer Khan is an experienced broadcast journalist and program anchor, having contributed to various reputable media outlets such as News One TV, Aaj News TV, Such News TV, PTV News, and Metro One News TV. His commitment to excellence in academics was recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, which named him the Best Urdu Debater of Pakistan in 2013. Furthermore, in May 2018, he represented Pakistan at the International Media Conference held in Astana, Kazakhstan, showcasing his dedication to youth development on a global stage. He was declared first time ANF Youth Ambassador by Anti Narcotics Force Sindh to promote the mission of Drug Free Pakistan. In recognition of his remarkable contributions to empowering young people, he was honored in 2021 by former Director General of the ISI, Lt. Gen. Nadeem Anjum. Under his leadership, PYFP aims to inspire and equip the youth of Pakistan for a brighter future.

AIR VICE MARSHAL ABID RAO (RETD.)

Air Vice Marshal Muhammad Abid Rao is a retired senior officer of Pakistan Air Force. He is an intellectual person and also a scholar of history. He is a famous analyst to represent Pakistan on National and International forums and TV Channel. He is also a writer and published his research articles on morality and ethics of nation.

MR. MUHAMMAD AMAN PIR

Mr. Aman Pir is a socially active personality in business community of Pakistan. He is Justice of Peace by Chief Minister of Sindh. He has spent much tenure as Chairman Standing Committees in FPCCI. Currently, he is leading standing committee of Special Education in Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

ENGR ADNAN KARAMAT CHISHTI

Engr. Adnan Chishti is CEO of Health Engineering Solutions. He is a philanthropist and a famous Health Care Worker. He is a pioneer of first virtual hospital application namely HealthSolutions recognized by Apple Store. He is also CEO of EngiTech (Software House). Engr. Chishti is well known in Bio Medical Industry. He is also internationally recognized on behalf of his international projects in construction of hospitals.

ATEEQ UR RAHMAN

Mr. Ateeq ur Rahman is one of the prominent member of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In CSR, he is working as philinthropist. He is Executive Director of Afzal Memorial Trust Foundation and working to encourage blood donation for Thalassemia Children.

CAP. ADEEB UZ ZAMAN SAFVI PN (RETD.)

Cap. Adeeb uz Zaman Safvi is a defence expert and retired officer of Pakistan Navy. He is also associated with Ex-Servicemen Group of Pakistan. He prominently highlight and encourage youth to serve for nation. In his opinion, justice system should be easiest for every citizen of Pakistan.

Aisha’s dream comes true

Aisha is a little girl who always dreamt of going to school. But she belongs to a village in Tharparkar where little girls are expected to help with household chores and especially accompany their mothers to fetch water. Instead of spending her time studying, reading books and learning about the World, she had to spend her time walking long distances to fetch water. This is no longer the case. When Hisaar Foundation with the help of its supporters installed a solar powered borewell and a water storage tank in her village, Aisha no longer has to make the trek to do so. She can go to the solar bore in her village and just open a tap. Gone are the days of carrying water on matkas over her head, gone are the days of backaches and lost dreams. Now Aisha has enough time to help her mother fetch water and also attend school.
